Here I am somewhat of a computer and Joomla nerd, and I went to my Easysocial install today to work on it a little, and tried some functions on the frontend.

I went to my album cover photo album, "Cover Photos", which I previously uploaded a cover photo to, but the picture is not there. The photo showed as the album cover, but wasn't in the album (odd). I re-uploaded the album cover by going to my profile and it worked that time. Hopefully just a one time thing.

Also, there is literally no button to upload photos while looking at the album. I really think a person should be able to not only upload cover photos from the cover album, but also choose their cover from there as well (perhaps a star icon on the top right of each icon to allow the user to choose the cover that way). Also, there is literally no button to upload photos while looking at the album.

Why is it that I am unable to upload photos in the cover album from the built in photos module??? Seems like a huge oversight, or a dumb decision. Remember that users didn't write the program, and everything, especially in a social program like this, have to be SUPER easy to find.

I really love most of your components Stack, but this could use some improvement. I wanted to move from Jomsocial to you, because I really do believe in your company more. Your user experience, speed, and features always seem to surpass them. Also, you might disagree with this, but after switching from Jomsocial to Easysocial, the site runs much slower, without any other changes. I completely deleted all Jomsocial files and database entries too, so I know it isn't that. forgive me if it has something to do with my configuration or something.

It would be awesome if you came out with an instruction on how to use easysocial completely, and ways to speed it up and disable functions that I may not need or want.

Thanks Stack
Hello Jonathan,

By the way, currently it is not possible to upload the cover photo via the albums (We do have plans to change this behavior in the future) but the pure reason is because the logics for uploading photo covers is entirely different than uploading a normal photo.

When you are viewing an album, there's actually a "Add photos" button which allows you to directly upload photos in a specific album. Take a look at my screen shot here, http://screencast.com/t/L4MDt0ORlmQ

By the way, can I know which "account" you will like to keep so that I can merge your accounts?
