I am running 3.8.14623, and have been trying to upgrade to the latest.

The updater wants a new API, I have regenerated three times.
The manual way, seems to complete, but does not update nor does it give me a message.
Hello James,

Upgrading from EasyBlog 3.8.x or older to 3.9.x requires a full uninstall / installation. The reason is because there are some core files which were modified in this release and running the updater would actually break things.

Rest assured that your data would not get erased when you perform an uninstall. Theme files and other core files would however get erased, so if you have made any modifications, it's best to make a backup of the modifications first.

I uninstalled, then tried to install.... same issue, no error warning and no installation.

OK... I upgraded to 3.4, and now I have the same exact problem:

I try to install and nothing... no error, no install, please do your magic one more time and tell me how you did it. THANKS!

Hello James,

I am not entirely sure why are you having such a hard time installing the extension. Could it be that the file you downloaded was corrupted? I have tried to install it and it seems to just work fine as you can see here, http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-03-14_0256.png

maybe it was corrupted as I was using the same file each time.
