Hi. I've been trying to update easyblog in the admin section of my site.

I've been using the API key I was given but when I try and update it says "Error Please enter the correct API key. "
Hello Evan,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.
It is important to take note that upgrading from major releases from versions 3.8.x or lower to 3.9.x, requires a manual upgrade via the Extension Manager. It is not possible to do this via the Updater. Please be rest assured that the normal upgrade process will not erase your blog posts or settings. Hope this help.

Hi Arlex.

Do you have any documentation to guide me through doing a manual upgrade in the extension manager? Just want to make sure I do it right.

Hello Evan,

You can find documentation on installing/upgrading at: http://stackideas.com/docs/easyblog/installation/installation-on-joomla-25 . There are 2 ways to update; via updater and extension manager and since you encounter problem while updating using updater, you need to manually update. Please use documentation above to guide you.

*Notice : Remember backup your customization file before update your latest version of Easyblog.

Hope this will help.

Thanks.
