Users on our site are unable to send inbox messages to one another. (screenshot attached).

as the server has masked the original error and seems like this is similar issue that has been encounter by Stroff Pte Ltd here: https://stackideas.com/forums/message-function-in-es2-not-working-properly-cannot-send-out-messages
It could be best you consult this with jbolo developers regarding this
