Hi,

In showcase module when I select Featured Posts, I got featured posts. But when I select Latest Posts, I have featured Posts and Latest Post as well.

In Categories selection I am not able to select multiple categories and I am not able to enter categories manually separate with comme as well

Thanks in advance for your help
Hi Greg,

From my understanding, your Easyblog - Showcase Module is working fine with but you are not be able to select multiple categories to showcase the featured post, am I right?

I already discussed with the developer and it is possible to showcase multiple categories.

Can you help us to suggest this feature request in our Voices page? http://stackideas.com/voices

the biggest problem is when you select Featured Posts option, I got featured posts only.
But when I select Latest Posts, I have featured Posts and Latest Post as well. Normally I have to get only Latest Posts, not both option and I'd like to get only Latest Post

Hello Greg,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

Can you download the attachment below and place it inside your /modules/mod_easyblogshowcase/ folder and see how it goes?

Hi Ezrul,

It's much better now, but I still don't have picture on
Before it was the first picture in the post, now there is no more picture

Any solution to get it back like before? Same for the latest post page, website is really uggly now.

Is it possible to have a little hack to get it back to wait the next version?
Thanks in advance
Greg

Hello Greg,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply as it weekends for all of us here.

I don't actually get what you mean by the image is not showing now. Correct me if I'm wrong, do you have made some customization to fetch first image as the blog image inside the showcase module and latest blog module before instead of using the blog image? For the current module version you need add blog image in the post so that the image will appear in the showcase module and latest blog module.

Hi Ezrul,

No I haven't made any customization in Easyblog and I all time get the first pisture of my post blog in Showcase module and in latest post page for each article.

Now in place of this picture I have this Icon I printscreen

So I don't know but it was working like this and everywhere was like that.
The first picture I added in my post was display in every module of Easyblog (Map, showcase, latest post page, every where and now in place of my picture there is this icon

So I really want to get this option back

Hello Greg,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

I believe the issue is related with the forum post here, http://stackideas.com/forums/first-photo-issue where when there is no blog image available, easyblog will display the default image as blog image instead of the first image available inside the blog content itself. We already created a ticket to our developers and they will look at this issue shortly.

Thank you for your kind understanding.

Hm, that's odd. Seems like it only happen on your site as it working fine in my local instance and also other site. Can you provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can check on the issue directly?

Please advise.
