I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

Actually that is correct behaviour.

1. If the user comment on 1 photo, this comment will be only visible on this photo.

2. If the user comment on the stream item, this comment will be only visible on this stream item.

3. If the user comment on the album, this comment will be only visible on this album.

So it will not messed up if the user keep uploading new image into story form.

Hello. I still can see this issue. There is new steps to reproduce:

1) User1 upload few (more than 1) photos to Group's timeline (default story album).
2) User2 open one of this photo in popup and comment it
Result 1: in DASHBOARD we can see stream item: Photo + comment below as expected
Result 2: in GROUPS TIMELINE we can see stream item: Photo and no any comment below
