This issue seems to be related just to my event named bRUNch.... but at the backend if I try and make a change to the event description (or anything else) and save it, the save just fails with my browser throwing a 'No Data Received' error.

Any ideas what might cause that? Other events that I've tested so far seem to be saving ok. Just that one called bRUNch. Site details provided if you can take a look. Thanks!
Hi Andy,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it weekends for all of us here.

I've applied the fix inside your site and the file upload should be working correctly now. Can you verify this for me?

Hey Andy,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is actually a public day off for us here. I have just tried to edit the event and saved it, but it seems to be working fine for me here. Take a look at my screen shot here, http://screencast.com/t/o3b2LNNEM

Hmm... That's real odd. Can I ask what browser you used when that worked? Maybe if I try another browser. I'm still getting the issue but clearly working ok for you. I've tried Safari and Chrome (and reset cache etc in each) but both seem to 'time out' when I save that totally ordinary event.

OK thanks. Just downloaded and tried with that... same issue. Oh well. It's too bizarre and unique to worry about. I'll try from another internet location with a totally different computer set-up. Consider this closed and finished. I'll mark a response as the answer.

Hi Ezrul... Sorry but I am indeed back again with this issue! My front-end user of the same event just reported the same issue front-end.

She was trying to edit the event and upload a file to it via the file custom field and on save, the screen just went blank. I was able to replicate it too, and checked the error log on my server which says:

PHP Catchable fatal error: Object of class stdClass could not be converted to string in mysite/public_html/administrator/components/com_easysocial/tables/field.php on line 1080

Does that give any clues perhaps?

Hey Andy,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. What are the steps taken to reproduce this issue? Can you provide us with the following details?

1. User access
2. Which event are you editing?
3. What file are you uploading?

Hi Mark,
Yes please see if you can get this to work... the event user couldn't and nor could I....

1. User access is added to site details (along with my full superadmin too if you need that)
2. The event we're editing front-end is (LINK REMOVED NOW THIS IS SOLVED)
3. The user was trying to upload a PDF to the file custom field.. I just picked any PDF to test it with (attached if you need it)

Thanks!
