Hi Mark,

Upgraded yesterday to the latest EasyBlog 5.8.1 of my clients website but now I can save articles as a draft, but when I click publish, I get an error message: "An error has occurred. 0 Call to undefined function mb_convert_encoding()"

The new post: "Media Info Note: Pan-African Science, Society & Policy Indaba" which saved perfectly, is stuck in drafts and I'm unable to publish the item.

Your help with this is much appreciated!

Best,

Jan
Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

The reason why you hitting this is because your PHP server didn't installed this php-mbstring , this is one of the minimum system requirement for Easyblog 5.1, can you request with your webhosting provider to help you install this php-mbstring on your PHP server?
