EasyBlog is not playing iPhone's .mov extension after uploading from pc or iPhone. Apple's mov extension is the best...right? The smallest file size with the best quality hands down, and it has always been that way with the H.264 codec...er something close to that - (I'm thinking Apple patented that right away). I did read to make sure I wasn't making a mistake, I hope. I am new to Joomla! and the php thing so I'm not ruling out a mistake on my part at all, hehe. Thank you very much and Happy New Year!

Hi there,

Sorry for the delay of this response. It seems that there are issues on our end where you cant upload .mov files on your site. Can you provide us with your backend and FTP access so that we can applied them for you?

By the way, i have logged this issue internally and will included them on our next release version.

I did read the documents prior to contacting you. As I interpreted it, easyblog should play .mov without formatting. The movie appears to upload, it doesn't appear on the blog once uploaded. It could be something I did, probably was...I've made several mistakes setting up and operating Joomla! I am so new to this, I didn't see that Joomla! was a developer's platform, that was my mistake and will not be making that one again because I AM NOT A DEVELOPER...for sure, hehe.

Thank you,

Hi there,

Currently, there are issues on our Easyblog where you cannot upload mov files as on codes, it is set to use commonly used movies extension only(might be old codes ) I have made fixes here components/com_easyblog/themes/wireframe/blogs/blocks/video.php so that you now can choose .mov files on browsers upload and some here .../media/com_easyblog/scripts/composer-5.2.10.min.js as it will required some fixes on javascript files.

Right now, i cannot tested them out as i dont have access to your site. Can you give it a check and see how it goes.

Hi there,

I do get those emails and i can access them as well. As informed on my previous reply, i have applied some fixes on your site but i just cannot access your backend/frontend cause those login access no longer working. Can you check them and see whether those videos upload works or not? Or maybe can you provide us with your valid backend so that we can further check this issues.

Please advice.
