Can't install easyblog

Hi,
I'm trying to install easyblog and the installation begins but stalls at 15% "Initializing admin files"

I'm using com_easyblog_launcher_community_5.0.24_joomla3.0.zip. All the pre installation check are OK but it just hangs.

I've tried manual installation but it hangs at exactly the same point.

I uninstalled and cleaned the cache but no change.
hey Jeff,

Perhaps you can provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can help you check on this?

By the way, may i know this is fresh installation or upgrade from Easyblog 3.9?

Hey Jeff,

I am not really sure why when I run installation in your site then hitting these following errors :


Warning: POST Content-Length of 10758911 bytes exceeds the limit of 8388608 

Warning : gzinflate(): data error in <b>/var/www/vhosts/hollywoodbathrooms.com.au/httpdocs/libraries/joomla/archive/zip.php</b> on line 525


By the way, I already help you installed Easyblog 5 in your site, can you give it a check now?

Hi Arlex,

No idea on that message either but admin errors are now showing up in backend since you installed easyblog. Can you have a look again please as these errors refer to easyblog.

I have help you set error_reporting from maximum to none, it should work fine now.

I have the same problem on my site. First I tried to upgrade from 3.9 but it got stuck in 15% "Initializing admin files".
Then I tried it as a fresh installation but the same happens.

Regarding your EasyBlog upgrade issue, I've successfully upgraded your EasyBlog to latest version of 5.0.25
