Hi,

Last week I purchased the Easyblog extension but so far have been unable to Install it.

I am running Joomla! 3.2.1 and am trying to install it to my Localhost (WAMP). I'm obviously trying to upload the original Zip file I was provided with. I've even unzipped &re zipped the files & renamed them.

The message I get is the following:

"Error - There was an error uploading this file to the server"

I did read somewhere that this may be caused by permissions? I am trying to upload from an full Admin account on Joomla.

Could someone please point me in the right direction as to where I'm going wrong as I really need to get this up and running as soon as possible.

Many Thanks,
Emma
Hello Emma,

Please configure your php.ini file so that the upload_max_filesize and post_max_size is set to 10mb . After changing this, restart your apache and you are good to go

Hi Mark,

I don't supposed you'd know where it would be hiding would you? I've tried under Admin -> help -> etc. but it's being very elusive!

Many Thanks,
Emma

Hello Emma,

How is your current setup on your local WAMP? I am not too sure about this but you could try viewing the phpinfo from your Joomla administration area and try searching for php.ini

Thanks Mark,

I've just found it by right clicking on the Wamp icon, then selecting php from the list. the php.ini file was there and your suggestion worked straight away.

Thank you again and enjoy your weekend,
Emma
