The MD5 hash of the downloaded file does not match. Please contact our support team to investigate this ..
I was developing a site with easy social. When trying to reinstall, got this message.
I understood my subscription had finished, but I want to install the early version I've downloaded under my subscription.
Are you able to re-download the file? An MD5 mismatch could imply the file didn't download correctly and to allow installation would create abnormalities somewhere. If it's a file you've already had for a while, I don't see why it wouldn't install even if subscription is no longer valid since subscription only entitles support and updates.

By the way, are you able to install that file on a new Joomla installation? Curious if something else could be causing the problem if you're trying to install over an existing installation or if the previous uninstall didn't complete.

Hi guys,

Thank you for the inquiry. Justin here, from Stack Ideas' marketing team. The MD5 hash error indicates that your license has already expires and thus the installer is currently blocked from accessing our server. With an expired license, you won't be able to download any versions of EasySocial at all; "download" is a privilege only for an active licenses.

Having said that, I humbly suggest that you renew your license with us; seeing that we have a new promo code running. You can get the coupon code here.

Let me know if you have any other inquiries prior to your renewals.

So re-installation of the product is not allowed once subscription is expired? Huh, I missed that detail.

Hi David,

You are allowed to install the product should you have downloaded the full version prior to your expired subscription. What you have downloaded is yours to keep and you are free to use it for as long as you want. The problem faced with Miguel is that his installer is trying to download a version from our server, which is blocked due to the fact that his license has already expired.

Hope this clear things up.
