Hi,
trying to install komento 1.7.2 over 1.6.3949 I got following message:
COM_INSTALLER_MSG_INSTALL_WARNINSTALLUPLOADERROR
Do I have to uninstall the old version first?
Thanks for help,
Romeo
Hello Romeo,

Your back end is actually password protected and I cannot bypass it

Hello Romeo,

Yes, the password protected was passed, but i have tried to access in your Joomla backend site, it seems like you didn't set that user "komento" as SuperAdmin, because i get this warning "You do not have access to the administrator section of this site.". Could you can have check on this.

Hello Romeo,

Sorry for late reply to this,
it okay. I have checked in your PHP information, it seems like your upload_max_filesize only set to 2M ( http://screencast.com/t/ujOyC4kV ), so you have to request with your hosting provider to help you increase to higher around 10M or 20M above, then you try to install again and see how it goes. Hope this help.

Hi Arlex,
I've set the upload_max_filesize to 40M via php.ini and it still doesn't work means I get the same error message.
Please have a look to: https://integratives-stimmtraining.com/phpinfo.php/

Romeo

Hi,

It seems like there is a separate php.ini in your /administrator folder that is causing your php.ini on the root folder not getting applied.

I've manually modified the php.ini to set the upload_max_filesize to 8M in your administrator folder and successfully installed Komento on your site.
