Hello

When creating a new blog, I select a blog image and upload the picture which seems to go under a file called 'easyblog_shared'. When I look at the media manager in Joomla, under the 'easyblog_shared' folder - the image doesn't seem to be there.

Please advise where the images are going when I upload a new blog image to the 'easyblog_shared' folder? Under EasyBlogs > Settings > Media > General > Storage Path > Shared Media states: images/easyblog_shared/
Hello John Carey,

Sorry for late reply to this,
Yes, if you upload that image file in share folder, then it should be display on that folder.

Hello John Carey,

Thanks for getting back to us quickly,
I have noticed that was no any blog image available from your create blog post page.

I have tried to publish a blog post and upload a image file in your shared image folder, it seems like work fine for me, because when i check back the image file is there. Am i missing something here? Please advise.

Hello Arlex,

Please try and post a blog using the backend...under Components > EasyBlogs > Blogs > New Blog.

Yes it does appear in shared media but why does it appear 3 times in the media manager?

Also is there a way we can access the Media Manager (anything outside the easyblog_shared media folder), when you choose a blog image...

Hello John Carey,

Sorry for late reply to this,
Yes, when you upload 1 image, then the system will be resize to thumbnail , icon, and original size, so you can click "Customize" button from the media manager then select which size ( thumbnail size or original size ) you would like to display on your site.

Do you mean that you would like to create another folder is under JoomlaFolder/yourNewFolder ?
If yes, that was possible to do this, you can configure the path from your backend > EasyBlog > setting > media > Storage path
If no, can you elaborate more details regarding this? Please advise.
