Hi
I've installed and enabled the K2 application and plugin but can't seem to create K articles from the front end. From the dashboard if you click on the articles App, it will say "no articles created' but there doesn't seem to be a link to click on to create a new article. Plea advise - is there a setting I haven't enabled?

Hello Jeremy,

The app is used to auto generate the stream in Easysocial when you create K2 item. I've made a test post in your K2 and it does generate the stream: http://screencast.com/t/G6wHFgfWF .

Thanks for the feedback. I know if you're logged into the Joomla backend and create an item it generates the stream. My question is - if you are logged into the frontend of the site as a registered easy social user, is it possible to create k2 items and assign them to categories as defined in the back end of Joomla (so do it without logging into the joomla backend)?

Hello Jeremy,

I'm sorry but it depends on K2 component itself. If they have a Create Item menu layout on the frontend, then you can create K2 item from the frontend.
