Can't change the date in comments anymore

Hi,

It's not possible to change the date in comments anymore. Thats fatal, then we plan our posts and the first comments weeks before. So the comments must have the same date than the publishing day of the article.

Furthermore: In last version of easyblog we had write an article in frontenend, set the publishing day in future and had add directly a comment. This works not too.

Hello Oliver,

We had to remove the ability to change comment's date is because, comment has their parent and reply. Meaning if you edit the date of the reply to the date before the parent being posted, the comment date that will looks a bit out of context.

However, if you really need this, please replace these files:
../administrator/components/com_easyblog/themes/default/comments/form.php
../administrator/components/com_easyblog/themes/default/comments/form.js
../administrator/components/com_easyblog/views/comments/view.html.php

I hope this function is in the next update active?

I'm sorry but we won't include this in the next release. This is to avoid confusion.

Hm, data changing is only in backend. There is it not confuse and I've seen, somebody users use this function.

I'd updated my first post with the access data.

Did you changed anything on our Homepage? The Homepage is blank like the last failed updates of easyblog ...

Ok, I reinstalled easyblog and our Homepage works. But your changes to change the date of comments are gone. We have many travel on our Homepage and it must be 100% online!

After discussing this with our developers, we will re-added back this and will be added on our next release version. By the way, we have made some fixes on your site and it should works fine now.
