Can't Ask a Question if search bar is off?

Just getting back into EasyDiscuss... I might be doing something stupid but I'm on the new latest version and if I disable the search bar (which I don't want), then I seem to loose the 'Ask a Question' button and then there seems to be no way at all for people to post a question????!!!

Sorry for the late reply as it's the weekends. Actually if you turn off the search bar you will need to use the Ask module to display the Ask a Question link Please get it at http://www.stackideas.com/downloads Hope this helps.
