We have users who want to use periods in their first name field: example: using initials lik "A.D." as a first name. EasySocial will not allow periods in this field.

I am able to add periods to a name using Joomla's User Manager. That suggests that the restriction is added by EasySocial and not by Joomla. When I looked at this user in ES (where the period was added in User Manager), I see the period, but I get an error if I try to save the record because the first name contains a period. Although I have a short-term solution (user User Manager), this will run into problems later when the user wants to update his/her profile.

Is there a configuration setting to relax this restriction? How can I get past this problem?
Hi there,

Seems like i cannot replicate them on our local. Can you provide us with valid backend and FTP access for further check on this issues?

Please advice.
