I just installed latest version and everything looks fine...EXCEPT, I cant add new posts. Clicking NEW opens a pop up and this is what I get. Am I missing something?
Hi Lazaro,

Can you try to re-run the maintenance script from your backend > easyblog > maintenance > scripts, http://screencast.com/t/RtFhHW59X and see how it goes? If the issue still persist can you check from your backend > easyblog > categories and see if the default category are being set or not, http://screencast.com/t/anxJNNY4 . If none of your categories are being set as default, try to set one category as default and then try again.

If the issue still persist kindly provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can check on the issue directly.

I installed an update and ran the maintenance scripts you mentioned. I still cannot add new posts. What else could be causing the problem?

Hi Lazaro,

To be honest we are not entirely sure what causing the issue on your site since we do not have direct access to the issue. Can you provide us with your site access and FTP access so we can troubleshoot the issue directly?

If you are requested to submit your site details, you may do so under the tab Site Details below. Please be rest assured that these information will only be visible to the support team from Stack Ideas. You can also store this in your site details area here, http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site to avoid having to enter these information multiple times.

Hi Lazaro,

It seems like the issue is coming from JCE editor as it returning the following error when you are trying to open the composer,
Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /public_html/libraries/cms/editor/editor.php on line 507
Warning: Attempt to assign property of non-object in /libraries/cms/editor/editor.php on line 509
Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in /plugins/editors/jckeditor/jckeditor.php on line 62

I've changed the default editor to use easyblog built in composer from your backend > easyblog > settings > general > composer and the composer is load up fine now. Perhaps you might want to consult with JCE developers and tell them about the error generated above.
