Is this possible? So users only have to join site once they see an event they like, open the event page for details and sign up?

Also even though only super user can create event the create event button appears to the public in event menu item. Can this be removed.

Thanks

Mike
Hey Michael,

It seems like that was bug, can you download my attached file and replace into following file and see how it goes?JoomlaFolder\components\com_easysocial\themes\wireframe\events\default.php

I believe you have enable the lockdown mode from your backend > Easysocial > setting > general > general so that your public user unable to view these open event in your site.

I am not entirely sure what you mean here but if the event is created as "public", anyone can view the event. If the non logged in user tries to participate, they would be requested to register first.
