Hi SI Team

When I log in at the front end of my ES Site I can not log out?
I have tried this with multiple users in multiple browsers.
Also tried removing the front end logged in user in the Joomla System Control Panel!
This does not help either...

Please advise

thanks

Paul
Hey Paul,

I've tried to troubleshoot on your site, it seems like moodle auth override the Joomla logout function, you can take a look of my video here : http://screencast.com/t/CANjfmoHS

By what I look at this, it keep redirection loop and skip the Joomla logout function and causing your logout function is not working.

Perhaps you can consult with their developer regarding this and see is it some of the configuration you not set correctly?

Hey Arlex

Thanks for your fast reply.
I found this documentation here:
http://www.joomdle.com/wiki/Single_Sign_On
Which I believe refers to the items in the first screen shot.
I have switched these items on.
And you can see the result as generated in the second screens hot.
This has something to do with something called curl which I believe is switched on.
Please see last screen shot?

If you want to test this it is probably a good idea if you send me your IP for today.
As Akeeba Admintools will block you after 3 failed login attempts.
If you have any ideas I am all ears.

best

Hi Arlex

I think I have made some progress.

Logging in now brings me here:

http://www.finalbug.net/network

gives me:

A white page with “the temporary file isn't there for CURL!”

If I delete network from the above link and hit return:

http://www.finalbug.net

I am now logged in.

Logging out works!!!

I think part of the problem is that I had some thing called “MNet authentication” enabled in the Joomdle plugin in Moodle.
I have now switched this off.
When I was in the Joomdle plugin in Moodle I also noticed that there was a “Use redirect-less SSO” setting.
I have set this to yes and no and tested but it does not seem to make any difference.
I am still missing some thing.

best

Paul

I am sorry for the delay of this reply,

Hm, I've tried take a look, but I am not really sure how it actually work Because I never use this Moodle extension before, perhaps you can consult with their support and see is it can get this issue resolved?

Hey Arlex

No worries.
Thanks for looking all the same.
I will need to spend some more time on this.
If I discover any thing that definitely points to the problem involving Stackideas then I will post again.

thanks all the same
