How can I copy all text and images, video etc.. from other website, then paste into post with the easyblog editor? I can do that with JCE easily, but can not do it with the easyblog editor.
Hello Sky,

EasyBlog's built in editor doesn't allow copy / pasting rich media contents currently. I would suggest that you upload the images via media manager and insert it in the blog post instead.

this is a big issue with your editor then. when copy and paste, it takes 1 second. if upload one by one, at least 15 mins.

it will be useful if I can select editor to use in edit post page so that I can choose another editor to copy and paste.

Hello Sky,

There are a lot of reasons why we disable this functionality especially when you copy / paste from proprietary software like Microsoft Office tools. It contains a lot of proprietary codes which we cannot exclude.

We'll see what we can do about this with the built in editor in EasyBlog

Hello Sky,

You can find this under Settings > General > Composer to set the default editor. Choose JCE and when you compose a new blog post, JCE will be used automatically

Currently there is no settings that allows you to choose which editor you want to start up with but if your priority is to copy / paste rich contents, I would advise you to stick to JCE.

I just upgraded to ver 5.1, and tested with the new editor for this issue. when I past contents with texts and images, all the images position will be moved to bottom of the page. causing text and related image are no longer together.

can you add a feature in the edit post page to allow switch editor there?

Hello Sky,

When you paste contents, we can't actually manipulate those contents with the editor. Unfortunate but this is something which we plan to enhance in the future.

As of now, it's not possible to switch editor when you are editing a post
