Can not get "Continue reading" button to show in Magazine view

For the "home" page (main menu english) we're using EasyBlog » (Posts) Magazine
For some reason I can not get "Continue reading" buttons to show.
I have set "Display Readmore Button When Necessary" to YES in EasyBlog-Layout-Truncation

Also, how do I get the preview image from the blog to also link to the blog when using the menu item (Posts) Frontpage

When using for example the grid view, clicking on the image will take you to that blog post. Like here: https://testing.shapingtheodds.com/blogs

This is the correct behavior. There is no readmore button in the magazine layout.

The only way to achieve this is to show the post cover in the listing page. If you do not have post cover in your posts, you can try using this setting in the Settings>Layout>Post Covers section(http://take.ms/M2Ifj) to use your first image as the post cover. Once you do this, the image in the listing page will contain the post url.
