The problem is because there is an index.html file in the /administrator/ folder. Hence, when anyone tries to access https://chappelet.ch/administrator/ without the index.php, the webserver is rendering the index.html file instead since the DirectoryIndex in apache is probably set to index.html first.

I have renamed the index.html file and it works fine now
