Can not edit Group Categories - blank screen after save

When I try to edit a group category in the backend, I get a blank screen with just the words "* Group Type:" at the top. This also happens as soon as a new category is saved.

This is on a clean install of J3.2 with nothing but EasySocial and EasyDiscuss installed.
