Update through my EasyBlog and my admin stalls the download.
If I want to directly install new version through Extensions > Manage > Install loops and then times out
Hi Marko,
It seems I am hitting the error "504 Gateway Timeout" during the 'Initializing Site Files' process in the installation.
I am unable to access your ftp. Perhaps you can update and recheck your ftp access credentials then let us know so we can investigate this issue further?

Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

It seems like you provided wrong password with your FTP, this is what I get that error when I try to connect :
Command:	PASS ***********
Response: 530 Login authentication failed
Error: Critical error: Could not connect to server

Please advise.

Thanks for getting back to us, now I can connect with your FTP server and manually updated latest version of Easyblog in your site, can you give it a try and see is it everything work fine now?

By the way, regarding this error `504 Gateway Timeout` error, the problem is actually because the "file copying" takes time and because your server is extremely slow in copying the files, it actually failed. The best way to fix this is to ask your hosting provider to look at the speed of file copying on the server. At the rate at the file is being copied, it's going to take a while.

Hey Marko,

You're welcome.

Yes, you can upload through Easyblog media manager from the composer.

Hope this help. If you have other different issue/question, it would be best if you can start a new thread so that we can easy to manage your issues.
