Hello there!
we have a super category, with 6 children categories. We want to have a page where 2 most recent blogs of each subcategory are shown. However, using Latest blogs module, selecting the supercategory and incluse sub-categories results in showing the most recent blogs but not from each category - the most recent blogs among all sub-categories. I guess that is what it is supposed to do...but how could we achieve showing the most recent blogs of each sub-category???

Thank you in advance!
Hello Theano,

To display a latest blog post for each sub category, you have to select the Module type as Latest Post by category: http://screencast.com/t/g7QU7apq4Bb and select the subcategory here: http://screencast.com/t/oXtkrhZ2QW . Please give it a try.

Hello!
Thanks for the prompt reply!
It seems that that option does not allow me to select multiple sub-categories, although it says hitting Shift key allows such a selection...Is there a way for me to select multiple sub-categories?

Thank you very much!

Hello Theano,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

Regarding the multiple category, I am sorry for the confusion. Currently only 'Lastest Post' module type support multiple categories. To do this, go to your EasyBlog latest blog module, under the 'Latest Post paramater', in the 'categeries' fill, you can simple hit your space key so that a dropdown list of categories will be shown. You can then select your category. To add second category, hit again space bar and the categories dropdown will appear again

Hope this help and have a nice day!
Sam
