Hi

As per the question, can I restrict one of my user groups to be able to write blogs in specified blog categories rather than only be able to provide them with the ability to write in all categories?

If so, how?

Thanks
hello Jamie O'Reilly,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

Can i have your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can help you check on this? Please advise.

By the way, thanks for Mist sharing

In Easyblog category configuration you have the "Category Access" settings where you can define view / create / edit privileges and assign user groups to these privileges

So, if you want to restrict a specific user group "write" privileges to one of the category, edit that particular category and within "category access" settings block the group you want

aah - that's strange when I look at the category access page I do not get the fields, 'view the blog posts' or 'during the blog creation/edit'. I'm using Easy blog 3.9.15770. Have I missed something?
