Hi Mark,

Also still waiting for K2 integration within EasySocial I am eager to know what your plans are concerning this point?

Over 1 Million downloads for K2 component and a lot of Joomla templates with integrated K2 functionality build from professional developers like JoomlArt should be some good reasons for making EasySocial K2 ready. Also your other extensions already do support K2 so I was wondering why EasySocial missed this opportunity?

Regards,
Martin

Hello Martin,

We are actually focusing on EasySocial 1.2. After the release, I will try to see if I can create an app for K2

Hey Mark, shouldn't a lot of the newer apps be placed on the apps download section of StackIdeas rather than having it built into the main ES software? This way we can keep it "lighter". Not a big deal, just something to consider. Perhaps there is a good reason you have it setup the way it's going.

Yep, that's what we are trying to do with 1.2 but because 1.1 there are no references to the Apps directory and the user might be lost. We don't want to introduce more confusions currently as this increases the number of unnecessary support for us

After 1.2, we'll be moving most of the apps that we have created into the Apps directory. Of course with the introduction of the group apps as well.

Sounds good Mark. A link to the apps directory from the install page is a great idea.
