Can get to Control Panel but all other screens blank

Hi,

I'm setting Easy Blog up on a fresh Joomla install and it installs fine and I can get to the control panel but if I try and look at blog entries or do anything else I just get a blank screen. Tried uninstalling it and installing it again a few times but makes no difference.

Get a blank screen when I try and view a blog page from the front end as well.

Any ideas?

Hello Neil Payne,

When i help you turn on the error reporting to Maximum, then hitting this :


Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 25165824 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 491520 bytes) in /home/sites/adhclients.co.uk/public_html/kwin6/libraries/joomla/environment/browser.php on line 691

it seems like your site memory_limit reached the limit, so you have to request to your Webhosting provider help you increase the memory_limit to 128M, check my screenshot : http://screencast.com/t/WgHCyVSJgx

That's great!

I put this

ini_set("memory_limit","1000M");

in the index.php file for the site and admin area and now it's fine - probably more then is needed but it did the trick.
