Hello

Today, only the Group creator can create the relevant Group Event.

I would like that ALL members of the Group can create the Event for this specific Group.

Is that possible?

Hi Henri,

To allow members to create events, you can add this custom field into your group's workflow(http://take.ms/2txgA).

Then the groups using this workflow can have this field configured(http://take.ms/QYMN7).

It looks terrific Ray!

I am not familiar with workflow and custom field ... but it seems very powerful.

- What is the path to access to the Group workflow (your #1 screen)?

- Where can I find a 'workflow for beginners' document ? What I see in the /docs is very technical (code, API).

Thanks
Henri

Hey Henri,

We apologize for the inconvenience as we do not have a documentation for workflows yet.

Workflows is located under custom fields in EasySocial backend(http://take.ms/Rwzu5). You can create new workflow or edit existing ones. The type of the workflow will indicate whether user or a cluster type can use it.

To use the workflow that you set up, select that workflow in the cluster category/profile type(http://take.ms/RwCqA).

ok, the topic is not simple without a documentation, then you have to be patient :-)

Here is my group's workflow 'RDV Marathon'.

I open the workflow window and click on ''insert new custom field' but I can not see 'Event Create' in the list

Hey Henri,

Sure if you have questions on the topic feel free to ask.

For your workflow, I checked the 'RDV Marathon' workflow and it is not a group workflow but an event workflow(http://take.ms/MQAHyw).

You would need to create a group workflow(http://take.ms/RNpIh) in order to insert that custom field.

Oh I see ... I make a confusion between GROUP CATEGORY and GROUP WORKFLOW

I create as many Group Workflow than Group Category ... which is wrong.

I will update all this today like :

Group Category 'Marathon Europe'
- Group 'Marathon Paris'
- Group 'Marathon London'

Group Category 'Marathon North America'
- Group 'Marathon NYC'
- Group 'Marathon Toronto'

BUT with only ONE Group Workflow 'Marathon' !

very exciting ... I come back tomorrow for your time :-)

Sure Henri.

Just so you know, one workflow can be associated with several categories so you do not need to create a workflow for each category, unless you want to have a different workflow setup for different categories.
