Hello.

Is it possible to move an existing event into a group - so that it is included in the group's event listing?

If not possible in the back-end interface, would it be an easy SQL operation to associate an event with a group?

Thanks!
Hi Andy,

There is no easy way to move events into groups.

Events are associated to groups/pages at the #__social_events_meta table where group_id and page_id represents the cluster that events are under.

Changing the value to the corresponding group/page id seems to work fine on the surface. However, I would have to caution you against doing it as different privacy types between the group and moved events may produce other unforeseen issues.

With that said, if you really want to have a proper way to move events, you would have to request a quote from us at https://crm.stackideas.com and select "Customizations".
