Calendar module not showing upcoming events

To follow up on my previous ticket of the Calendar module not showing. With Stackideas help, I got the Calendar to appear. However there is another problem...

The Calendar module doesn't show any upcoming events. All dates are grayed out, even when there is an event on the day.

Any help?
Heads up to anyone having this problem. I've fixed it and it's on my end.

In the calendar module, just choose ALL categories and it should be fine.
