I am using the EasyBlog 5 Composer for a client of mine. First of all, let me tell you that this newest version, with the Composer, is SPECTACULAR!! I love it!

Here is a usability issue I am struggling with. When configuring buttons in the Compser, the right-hand pane provides different button colors and sizes. Rolling over the button choices shows an immediate change in the Composer, giving a nice insight as to how the change will look. The issue is that, should the user roll out of the button selection area, the last rolled-over button is the one that is applied in the Composer. I believe it would be better to force the user to click to select the one they want, rather than this. Same hold true for the button sizes.

I know this may seem silly, but the frustration this causes is incredible. Users are not realizing that they have changed the button type/size until they post. I understand that they can look over to check their work, but it does not always happen. I even get frustrated when I move my mouse over to insert a hyperlink and accidentally move over the button choices. The Composer keeps changing the buttons, and it is extremely frustrating.

I was curious if anyone else has this issue, and if there is a way to have this feature changed?

Thanks!!
Rick
Hey Richard,

I am sorry that delay of this reply,

It seems like that was a small bug, can you download my attached file then extract the zip file and replace into JoomlaFolder\media\com_easyblog\scripts\composer\blocks\handlers\buttons.js

After that, run this compile URL on your backend, http://changeYourSiteName.com/administrator/index.php?option=com_easyblog&compile=1&minify=1§ion=composer

It will took a few minute for recompile these script in your Easyblog, after run completely, then try open your composer and test the mouse out feature see is it solve the issue?

If no, perhaps you can provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can better have a look?
