Hi.

I'm just beginning to use the button blocks in the composer. But for some reason, the links won't work for me.

I input the hyperlink in the appropriate section, click save, click done editing, click update post, but then - nothing, it doesn't work.

When I return to the composer and click the button block, the link has vanished again.

What's happening?

Many thanks.

Geoff

(For example, see the button right at the bottom of this post: https://www.ashtutors.co.uk/newblog/entry/fun-activities-for-a-rainy-day.html)
Hi Geoff ashton,

Seems like you're using older version of EasyBlog. Would you mind to update to the latest version and see the issue is still persist?

I'm using the very latest version of Easyblog.

I've managed to get the links working for one single post - yet for the one given as an example above, still doesn't work. The link continually disappears on saving and updating the post.

Can anyone help with this?

Thanks.

Hi Geoff,

I'm not sure if there is some issue regarding the version, but its show you still using EasyBlog version 5.0.41 https://www.screencast.com/t/pZQIttK3g
I've try to update the button hyperlink using "http://www.google.com" in the ' Fun activities for a rainy day' post and its working fine. May I know the url that you want to key in? So we can try to key in.

Thanks Fadhli. This must a very recent version as I had the latest up to a couple of weeks ago.

Can I ask what the exact steps are to saving the link once you've put it in, because I still can't get it to work.

The URL I'm using is this: http://eepurl.com/Z55LT

many thanks.

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

It seems work fine, I already applied that permalink into that blog post button, can you give it a check?

Thank you for doing that. This still doesn't explain why it's not working when I do it.

Can I ask, do you input te URL then click save, or done editing, or what?

I would have thought any of those would work, yet it isn't working for me.

Thanks.

Or
