The title of a thread doesn't update in the SEF link

I am not sure what you meant here actually, it seems to looks fine on my end as you can see here http://take.ms/4xBbU Maybe you can provide us with more explanation on how to replicate this on your end, and maybe provide us with your backend and FTP for further check on this issues.

How can a registered user delete their thread?

They should be able to delete their own post/questions if they have given the right to delete them here http://take.ms/FzUTQ. If they already given those right, they can delete them here http://take.ms/y6oOf.

Where to change the file upload size limit? Can these be different for attachements and profile pic?

How can I reset the points system?

Unfortunately, it is not possible for you to reset them currently. But, in case you really required them to be reset you can change them on your database on this '#__discuss_users' table, under points columns.
