The other thread is related to custom category template and EasyDiscuss doesn't actually have such functionality on the category level.

Can you please:

1. Provide us with the back end and FTP access

2. Provide us the steps to reproduce the issue.

I'm designing a multi-language site on the localhost, I'm using gantry framework and helium template (version 5.4.10) on it.

easydiscuss can not identify my template and i can't make custom template PHP overriding.

I'm on the localhost i said.

PHP overriding does not work on gantry framework (with helium).
when i copy "JOOMLA_FOLDER\components\com_easydiscuss\themes\wireframe\forums\default.php" in "JOOMLA_FOLDER\templates\g5_helium\html\com_easydiscuss\forums\default.php" and modify it, nothing changes on frontend but direct modifing "JOOMLA_FOLDER\components\com_easydiscuss\themes\wireframe\forums\default.php" works and frontend change.

If your default template is g5_helium and you have already created /templates/g5_helium/html/com_easydiscuss/forums/default.php then it is correct.

I copy "default.php" from "Joomla_Folder\components\com_easydiscuss\themes\wireframe\forums\default.php" to "Joomla_Folder\templates\g5_helium\html\com_easydiscuss\forums\default.php" and remove lines 111 to 115 from it (i attach modified "default.php"). When i removed that lines to eliminate pagination from "Forum View" nothing changed! but when i remove that lines from original "default.php" file in the ""Joomla_Folder\components\com_easydiscuss\themes\wireframe\forums" folder, pagination disappear from "Forum View"?!

I don't know what is wrong? can you help me about it?

If you do same things on your local, its work correctly and pagination disappear?

Without any access to the site, we would not be able to troubleshoot this. Since it is working on protostar, then I am assuming that it should work on any other templates assuming that those templates are set as the default template that is.

That bug i report about easyblog was the same as this bug i report here (about easydiscuss). it's worked on protostar but does not worked in gantry helium, Mr. "Arlex Wong" knows what i am saying.

what kind of access you need, you can install joomla, gantry, helium and easydiscuss and see the bug yourself.
