Sorry for the post but I found where it was from.
It was from easyblog main configuration which is weird because if you forgot to swith off Pin Featured Items you get featured item in slidewshow module.

Should be better to have all option in module configuration than some part in component, isn't it?

Thanks for kindly sharing about this bug and make a clearly explanation at here, so that we can replicate the EasyBlog showcase module bug and investigate about that.

We have applied some fixes in the this 2 files, it should work fine now . So you can switch on the Pin Featured Items setting and try it.
Follow the file location at below and replace it in your file :
JoomlaFolder\modules\mod_showcase\mod_showcase.php
JoomlaFolder\components\com_easyblog\models\blog.php
