Hello,
whenever I branch out a reply as new question, I can see it listed in backend, but not in frontend, it's just not visible there.

Here are the exact steps I take:
- user post a reply to an existing question
- I click the "branch this reply as new question" button
- reply is being branched out correctly, and I am indeed redirected in frontend to new created question and can reply to it
- if I then go to the post list in frontend, the new created question is invisible (but I still see it in backend)

Forum is here: https://accademiainfinita.it/forum

Could you check this out?
Thank you
Hi Niccolo,
I tried replicating this locally and also on your site however the new post seems to be visible: http://take.ms/sse18
Am I missing something here?

Did you use the same user to post the reply and then branch out the reply as new question?
In my case the reply was posted by a regular registered user, and I (as superadmin) branched out the reply.
Also after branching out the replly I usually edit the title and save it again.
One doubt: when you branch out areply as new question, it get published automatically right?
If it's being set as unpublished instead and you have to publish it manually, that maybe something I overlooked to check out.

Thanks

Hey Niccolo,
I have performed some further tests in my local instance and I am able to replicate this. I'm not sure which post is your branched post so I can't double check this, but I suspect that your newly branched post has been moved to the end of the post listing when it was first edited(http://take.ms/jXQcs). This is definitely a bug. I will log this issue in our tracker so it can be investigated.
Regards.

Thanks,
in the meantime there is a way to fix this quickly form the admin panel, eg. changing the post date after branching it? Or it's a database issue?

Can you try download my attached file and replace into this following file location and see how it goes?

JoomlaFolder/administrator/components/com_easydiscuss/models/post.php

Note : Before you replace the file you have to backup your original file first.
