Bottuns names and links doesn´t work on amp pages results

Hello guys,

I have some issues with the amp results of my site on Google and is that, when i have a result of my page on Google, and i access to that results, all the buttons just said: "Texto del Botón" but not as a button but just as a text with a hyperlink, but actually that button or text with link doesn´t work, i mean if you try to make click to that link it doesn´t takes you anywhere, doesn´t work... Another links that doesn´t work is the images with links.

I let you an image of my smartphone with some results to be more clear...

You can try also by try to search a result on Google from an smartphone search..

You could try by searching this term:

razones de peso para estudiar ingeniería civil aulapro colombia

I think that with that specific search you could get a result to this article:

https://aulapro.co/noticias/ultimas-noticias/728-por-que-estudiar-ingenieria-civil-razones-de-peso

Off course that the ideas is that you could access to that article from an smartphone to see the AMP page and see what im trying to expalin.

Also you can access from desktop to see exactly how looks the images and buttons to see how they supoused to work.

Is ther a way to change this behaviour? or this is how should be this buttons for an AMP page..?

Hope can understand what im trying to explain here, and could be some solution.

Hello Fabian,

Are you using a plugin to generate these anchor links on the page? It is most likely that these plugins are not running on the AMP result which probably caused these anchor links to fail. What plugin are you using for this?

As for why the buttons doesn't look like buttons, it is simply because AMP pages doesn't css styles to be rendered on the page. Every element needs to have it's own inline styling. There is no work around for this because there is no way for us to add inline styles on every single html element on the page.

Hello Mark.

Im sorry for my delay answering this... After this with some time, i see that the buttons now have the name that was assigned and not just this "Texto del botón".

Now is good to see that in desktop Google shows several links form one result that leads to the sepcific part of the page... you can see this in the images i attached.. and you can see the AMP view with another results

But this buttons when is linking to some part inside the same page, it doesn´t work for AMP.. in desktop view works ok.. Is this normal and for now AMP doesn´t work with links in the same page? or this could be fixed?

And the other thing is that have some warning that is appearing with some pages.

Some of the errors says somthing like this:
You must include the extension in JavaScript 'amp-youtube' for the tag 'amp-youtube'.

You must include the 'amp-facebook' JavaScript extension for the 'amp-facebook' tag.

It would be best if you can provide us those blog for further check on this issues.

It seems that this issues come from our end. I have made temporary fixes on your site and it should works fine now. You need to wait for google to crawl them first in order for them to shown correct result, or maybe you can check them on amp validator.

Please give it a try and see how it goes. I have logged this issues internally, and will included this on our next release version.

Related with the errors, im testing the pages and now the majority of them now are OK, but i just want to send this one in order to see this issues in case fix them can improve the articles like the adjustement you just did..

El atributo "y" no puede aparecer en la etiqueta "amp-social-share".

And one thing i discover makeing the test:
I attached you an image of one of the snippets of the results, where you can see the easyblog logo, shown in the results.. I would like to change this logo for my website logo... Where i can do that?

Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

I've applied some fix into this file /public_html/components/com_easyblog/themes/wireframe/blogs/entry/amp.php

Regarding that logo, you have to upload your site logo from backend > Easyblog > setting > notification > Email Logo
