Massimo, I had that happen, too. I deleted the easyblog module called latest blogs and the website came back. If you haven't installed any of the modules or plugins for easyblog, then look in the error message for the file that is causing the crash and delete and reinstall the crashed extension.

I too have the same problem. To get around it I downloaded the full 5.05 package and uploaded it to /administrator/components/com_easyblog/setup/packages/ and installed from there. It installed

Same issue, install failed due to mismatch.... I'll try the full package installed from the directory.

Same here, after clean install. Component, all modules and plug-ins were un-installed before I start installing the new package.

Easyblog 3.9 installer is not available to download from the dashboard now.

Hmm, you shouldn't uninstalled Easyblog 3.9.

By the way, I have tried to access in your Joomla backend and FTP but i hitting this :

Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet.

//FTP access
Response: 530 Login authentication failed
Error: Critical error
Error: Could not connect to server


please advise.

Hi, Thank you for responding. My login credentials for Joomla backend and server are in the site details area. Thank you for looking into this. I currently installed my copy of EasyBlog 3.09 and am running with that but want to move up to 5.

My site is now visible and I was able to add and revise one post. I also did a share of that post to Facebook.

However, now when I log into Joomla and access the EasyBlog component in the control panel, it drops me into the EasyBlog installer.
