Is it possible to add support for Twitter Bootstrap 4 in PayPlans?
It only supports version 2 and 3, but I would like to use version 4.

If not, is it possible to customize this in my installation?
Where to add settings?

As of now it's not possible to add this configuration.
You can override templates as per bootstrap 4. Refer below mentioned document for more information.

Yes and no, the grid is a bit different in BS4.
Is it a way of manipulate the string: $plan_grid_class

Hm, not really sure what you are trying to change in $plan_grid_class but you can use simple php string manipulation to manipulate that variable.

Yes, you can change variable value as suggested in above reply or you can remove from template file also.
You need to do then changes as per your need.
