Hey

I am looking for a way to place the information from a specifice users "blogger info" (Biographical Info) which is not depending on a blog post og anything else. I just wat to show the "Biographical Info" for example in a module or in an article like {loadposition ...}

I just need to present it and nothing else and I do not what to keep the bloggers info in one place. Altso it should only be that information.

The closest i get is by using Menu Item type Bloggers Layout, but here I also have other bloggers and some extra information (need search bar and login in other pages). So as I see it, this can not be done unless I dig out the information myself ?

Regards

Claus
Hey, Yes I have tried that one also.

Its actually the menubar only + biographical info I need, but because some default settings like Subscribe to blog, Subscribe via RSS, search, login etc.are needed on other pages I can not remove.

I will write a normal Joomla articel for this, it looks simpel and acceptable. Then I remove biographical info and link from there to the article.
Regards

Hello Claus,

By default the easy blog's bloggers Layout menu item only displays those bloggers who have made some posting in the blog. The blogger layout menu item could display biographical info like an article as well shown here in this screenshot http://screencast.com/t/oMhLUR853rw . All you need to do is to set the blogger biographical info shown here in this screenshot http://screencast.com/t/Vt3l04jlK .

From there you can add user biographical info shown here in this screenshot http://screencast.com/t/uArvXItWQf . Once you have save the blogger's biographical information, the info will appear in the blogger layout menu item shown here in this screenshot http://screencast.com/t/7w9N3C4Iv .

Hey

Okay thats how it is and how I do not want it to be, maybe I am not good at this Q. I think you have answered how to present the information equal to what I am writing. My point is to present a particular users biographical info and only that + what ever module I have. I had a hope that I might missed a module/setting.

I will dig it out.

Hello Claus,

Correct me if I'm wrong, you want to have a page which only for that specific blogger, right? If so, you might want to use this menu item: Single Blogger Layout. It does has other information like blog posts but you can remove it from the code. Or you can send us screenshot which part you don't want to be displayed.
