In Settings -> SEO there is only options that add a, quite unnecessary, "entry" moniker to the URL if "simple" isn't chosen.

I only have 2 options is seems.

1. If I choose "simple" it does not include "entry", however, this does not include "category" in the URL either. Example: ".../blog/post-title"

2. If I choose any other option is always includes "entry" in the URL (back end "view"). Example ".../blog/entry/category/post-title"

How do I remove the "entry" from the URL but keep the "category"? Example ".../blog/category/post-title" ?

Thank you.
Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Hm, this is actually a really tricky situation and I don't think this can be achieved on Joomla alone. The reason is because Joomla needs to know which view you are on and with the "simple" url, we could actually trick Joomla's SEF to determine the correct article view.

With the category view, it get's a little bit more complicated but I will log this issue into our internal issue tracker and see if I can quickly add this into the next release of EasyBlog.
