Hello SI Team

Is this just me or are the Social Share Icons behaving inconsistently on my site.

http://finalbug.net/blog
http://finalbug.net/blog/entry/398-fcpx-xml-support-round-up

Depending on whether I am in Opera or Firefox.

In Opera they are there!
In Firefox they are not there.

Am I missing something?

thanks in advance

Paul

Hello Ezrul

I got some one else to double check this for me.
They are seeing what you are seeing!
I can only imagine that my Browser (Firefox) has some kind of plugin or something that it getting in the way.
So I think it is reasonable to assume that the problem is only happening to me for what ever reason.
I can live with that

thanks again

best

Paul

@Paul

I use Chrome but ran a test on Firefox and the Social Icons display is the same (see image).

@Stackideas

However (see image) I have all 7 Social Icons enabled but Digg and Pinterest do not appear. It is not a new problem (since last summer) but I normally just switch them off as they are not as critical as the other icons and with all the talk about EasyBlog 5 assumed the problem would disappear anyway when it was released.

We go live in 10 days and as EB5 will go through a beta process it is very unlikely to be available before then so perhaps it needs to be fixed after all.......

Hello Richard,

Digg button no longer exists as they no longer provide this platform. As for pinterest, they would only show up if you have a blog image associated with the post. Do you have a blog image associated with the post? This is the minimum requirements set by the pinterest button.

Thank you for the reply Mark, I will turn off the Digg button (not a big loss to be honest) and keep Pinterest as you have explained why it did not show up in the test blog post (there was no blog image).

I am looking forward to using EB5 on our new site when available, so when it is released good luck with the EB5 beta and launch after testing!
