Hi,
I found an issue of publishing blog date is not affecting on front end.
For the first time(new blog), its ok.

But when i try to edit my blog, date functionality not affecting.

My Blog need to publish only on the date i have selected, but its keeps showing on created date.[/b]

Hope to get the solution as soon as possible.

This thread is created under EasySocial's category. To confirm, may I know whether you are referring to EasySocial or EasyBlog.

Actually I'm still not sure what Uthamizh's issue is as he did not mention whether his issue is on EasyBlog's frontpage or EasySocial's stream.

For EasySocial stream(attached), the date source can be configured at Settings>Integrations>EasySocial>Stream>Post Date Source.

For profile blog app, the post created date will always be shown.

Hi Team,

We are using Easy Blog component in Joomla.

ISSUE is:

## when I create a new blog and giving future date (not a present date) My Blog should publish only after few days from the present date.

## for the first time of creation its working fine on the front end. (ie: Blog not published on the front end)

ISSUE on Front end:

## When I edit only my text of content or title on my first blog, the future date remains the same (i didn't edit date), But it is Publishing on my home page.

I could not reproduce the issue on my local instance. Video attached.

After editing the scheduled post, the post is not published. Am I missing something here?

We are using an older version might this may be a problem in Easyblog(version5.0.14). We plan to update our version.

Hey Uthamizh,

It is best that you first update your EasyBlog version to the latest, then try again. This is because there are already a lot of bugs fixed between that version and the latest version. So chances are that issue no longer occur.

Remember to fully backup your site before performing major upgrades.
