Blog posts do not display animated .gifs

I would like to display this .gif in a blog post:

It displays correctly as a "Poster" yet is not animated in the Image Block (nor any other Block for that matter). What might be the matter?
Hello Jeremy,

During the insertion of the GIF image, you might want to choose to use Original size: http://screencast.com/t/J5sR7174XZZ . This is because if the GIF image is resized, it will break the animation. Hope this helps.
