Blog Posts appearing in full in cat view.

I can't seem to get the blog posts i have to appear on the category view as shortened versions. Currently if i have three paragraphs and 8 Instagram images embedded in a post on the the Category view the whole post and all the images appear.

Can anyone help? Using EasyBlog 5.
Hey Nigel,

I believe you are using the new "Composer Editor" to compose your blog posts and up to 5.0.15, we are automating the truncation of blog posts by blocks rather than characters or paragraphs as opposed to the WYSIWYG truncation settings.

I have updated this behavior internally and in 5.0.16 which will most likely be released tomorrow or in a day will have these automated truncation by characters for posts created with the new composer.

Temporarily, what you want to do is to split your text by blocks. For instance, if the settings under Settings > Layout > Truncation (The section on the left that says truncate by number of blocks), is set to 1, you only need to split your text to multiple blocks in the composer.

Do you mean you wouldn't like to show full content from your blog post in category view?

if yes. can you provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can better have a look?

Hi Arlex, thats correct, there's no incentive to access the post which has all the social media links if it's all on the Category view. Also it creates a whole lot of scrolling.

How can i share this login info privately with you?
