Am I missing something or can EasyBlog not do what I would think is a simple task as scheduling a blog post? I hope I am missing a setting to make this happen for what I though is a basic feature in Joomla and EasyBlog. I create a post than I schedule the post for a day and time in the future. I have my time settings correct in Joomla configuration but the posts never go live at the scheduled time. I searched the forum and see the mention of Cron jobs for this but the documentation on the website is wrong and the sample images are not loading. It is rather frustrating that a simple task basic Joomla and WordPress do without any modifications EasyBlog can not do. Help is very much appreciated to whom can let me know the simple setting I have to be missing. Thank you
Hello Patrick,

Firstly, we are sorry about the documentation issue. As for your issue, have you set up the Cron Job? In your cron set up, you can use this URL: http://www.yoursite.com/index.php?option=com_easyblog&task=cron. Change yoursite to your own domain name. You can refer here: http://stackideas.com/docs/easyblog/administrators/cronjobs/cronjobs-cpanel
