Blog Post Image not appearing EasyBlog 5

Hi,

Having some issues with the Blog image not appearing in Facebook posts. Initially I tried using auto-post, but when that did not work I tried copying the URL directly into Facebook but each time there is a placeholder displayed for the image (see example). The image displays fine from within EasyBlog on my website.

On a separate, but linked issue the Author photo in the main EasyBlog latest and articles displays offset with a border on the bottom/right sides of the photo; however when you click the photo to display the Author page it displays correctly.

Appreciate any help you can offer
Hi Tim,

I have inspected your site and I believe this post do not have blog image/cover. This blog image/cover is needed when sharing/autoposting to Facebook. Can you try put a blog image/cover for your post and I believe this will resolves the issue.

Thanks. You were right...there was no cover photo.

However after selecting a cover photo it still did not post it to Facebook even after deleting and re-inserting the link. What did change then was that when I re-posted, where the placeholder image had been, I had the ability to click on the placeholder and select a photo so I just had to download the image from my website, save it to the local PC and re-upload it to Facebook. It is definitely not as smooth as the previous version, but does work in a round about fashion.

Any thoughts on the Author photo issue?

Hey Tim,

Perhaps you can provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can check on the issue directly?

Hey Tim,

Also can we have permission to help you update to latest version 5.0.17 in your site? Because I noticed the post cover is not show out in blog entry page, and this post cover issue already solve in latest version of Easyblog.
